Common questions

What is TeamSigner?

TeamSigner makes sure no single person can trigger a critical action. Your team raises a request, members approve it by signing with a key held only on their own device, and once enough approvals are collected we deliver a signed message to the webhook you configured. See the documentation for details.

I lost my recovery phrase or my device. Can you recover my signing key?

No — and this is by design. Your private key and 24-word recovery phrase never leave your device and are never sent to us, so there is no server-side recovery. If you lose them, set up a new key on your device (Account → Set up signing key). Your public key will change, so your team admin must update it wherever your approvals are verified.

How do I approve a request?

Open the request from your team's inbox and tap Approve & Sign. You need a signing key on your device first; the app walks you through creating one the first time.

How much does it cost?

TeamSigner is free while we're getting started — unlimited teams and actions. See pricing.

Delete your account and data

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, your registered public keys, and your team memberships.

You can also request deletion by emailing info@teamsigner.com from your registered address. We permanently remove your account and associated personal data within 30 days. (Your private key already lives only on your device — deleting the app removes it.)

Report a problem or abuse

Email info@teamsigner.com with a description and, if relevant, the team or request involved. We review every report.
